Museum of My Art shows paintings by British artist James Read. James Read studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London where he was a contemporary of Peter Doig, Sadie Murdoch and Volker Schoenwart. While at Chelsea he was selected as a winner of the Julian Trevelyan Printmaking Prize by Mary Fedden and the Printmakers Council. The artist now creates some genuinely individual, quirky and original contemporary art from his Oxford based studio. He has shown his work in many group shows within the United Kingdom and his sought after paintings are represented in private collections in the UK and abroad.
